2022-23 Season Highlights Ashley Ingram became the second <strong>Pioneer</strong><br />
Basketball had a historical, record-breaking season<br />
winning the Lone Star Conference Regular Season<br />
Championship. They ranked third in the nation among<br />
Division II schools setting a TWU record.<br />
Basketball Coach Beth Jillson was<br />
named the LSC Noel Johnson Coach of<br />
the Year for the second year in a row.<br />
in program history to be named to the<br />
Women’s Basketball Coaches Association<br />
All-American team.<br />
Daisy Woodring scored a 9.825 to be<br />
crowned the individual national champion<br />
on vault. She was also named College Sports<br />
Communicators Academic All-America<br />
Team Member of the Year.<br />
Wrestling’s inaugural season earned them<br />
fourth overall at the regional tournament<br />
with five wrestlers qualifying for the<br />
national tournament.<br />
Alyssa LeBlanc was named NFCA First Team<br />
All-American breaking the TWU Single Season<br />
Record for most strikeouts in a season and the<br />
TWU and LSC Single Game Record for most<br />
strikeouts in a game.
