“Outdoor cooking is a great way to<br />
connect families to nature via mealtime.<br />
Dutch oven cooking is a fun<br />
way to make meals while camping<br />
or enjoying a fire on a nice evening,”<br />
said naturalist Britney Snell. “This<br />
event was created to inspire attendees<br />
to bring the cooking from the<br />
kitchen to the outdoors.”<br />
They will also get to taste the results<br />
of their efforts.<br />
“Participants at this event can look<br />
forward to discovering the tools that<br />
make Dutch oven cooking possible<br />
as well as getting to sample some<br />
tasty recipes. As a group, we will<br />
try to make some sweet treats using<br />
Dutch ovens.” Snell said. “I’m<br />

environmental education staff at<br />
the Nature Center hopes to encourage<br />
