epidermis to get darker.” Ok, how do I explain this? He<br />
was looking at a very attractive young lady in the skimpiest<br />
sting bikini. “That’s a female of our species.” “What is<br />
the significance of those three triangles she has on?” “Oh,<br />
those are the parts that we can’t look at.” “Why not?” I try<br />
to explain “See these protrusions?” I say pointing to my<br />
chest, “Those are called nipples. Everybody has them.<br />
But on the females, they have to keep them covered.”<br />
“Why is that?” “Hey, I don’t make the rules.” He asks,<br />
“What about the bottom triangle?” “Hmm..that’s part of<br />
the reproductive system, we can’t look at that either.”<br />
How come men don’t have the top triangles?” “Well, its<br />
ok for men to show them.” Xyxrl is perplexed. “So let me<br />
get this straight, it’s ok to show your whole body except<br />
if you’re a female, then you need the top triangles, and<br />
everybody need the bottom triangle?” “Yea, something<br />
like that.” “I’ll never understand humans!”<br />
“What are those beings doing? Looks like they’re<br />
holding a stick,” he asks. “Oh, they’re fishing,” I answer.<br />
“What is fishing?” “Well, you see, those “Sticks” are fishing<br />
poles. There’s a line connected to it. At the end of the<br />
line, there’s a hook with bait on the end. You throw the<br />
line in the water and wait for a fish to get caught on the<br />
hook. Then you reel them in.” “What is bait?” “Something<br />
to lure the bigger fish, sometimes a smaller fish.”<br />
Where does the bait come from?” “Oh, you have to go<br />
buy it.” “Ok, so you go to the sustenance building, pay<br />
for little fish, put them on a hook and throw it into the<br />
water hoping to get a bigger fish. Why don’t you just buy<br />
a bigger fish in the sustenance building?” “Well”, I explained,<br />
“some people find it relaxing.” “Relaxing?! I’ll<br />
never understand humans!”<br />
He continues, “What is that little human rubbing all<br />
over himself?” “That’s sunscreen. That’s so you don’t get<br />
sunburnt.” You mean your sun will burn you if you’re exposed<br />
to it?” “Well, if you stay out too long.” “So the little<br />
human doesn’t want to get darker?” “Well, yes but…<br />
Oh, never mind!” “I’ll never understand humans!”<br />
Maybe next time I’ll just take him to a baseball game…<br />
