Corn is primarily raised for livestock feed and ethanol. <strong>Martin</strong> <strong>County</strong> is the home to two<br />
ethanol plants, Green Plains and Valero.<br />
The county is also home to CHS soybean processing plant where soybeans are processed into<br />
soybean meal and soybean oil. Soybean meal is used to feed livestock, while soybean oil is<br />
used for biofuels as well as other innovative uses.<br />
