Since 1984, JFCS has held the highest level (3-year) of<br />

accreditation from CARF International, which requires<br />

adherence to high st<strong>and</strong>ards of business operations<br />

<strong>and</strong> best practices including agency-wide st<strong>and</strong>ards<br />

for accessibility, leadership, human resources, finance<br />

<strong>and</strong> safety. JFCS has been designated by the Minnesota<br />

Department of Health as an Essential Community Provider<br />

<strong>and</strong> is licensed to operate a Class B Professional Home<br />

Care Agency. JFCS is certified by Minnesota Rehabilitation<br />

<strong>Service</strong>s <strong>and</strong> the U.S. Department of Labor. In addition,<br />

JFCS is a member of the Alliance for Children & Families,<br />

the Alliance of Information <strong>and</strong> Referral Systems, the<br />

national 2-1-1 Information & Referral System, the<br />

Association of <strong>Jewish</strong> <strong>Family</strong> <strong>and</strong> Children’s <strong>Service</strong>s, <strong>and</strong><br />

the International Association of <strong>Jewish</strong> Vocational <strong>Service</strong>s.<br />

In 2006, JFCS was named one of the Minneapolis/St. Paul<br />

Business Journal’s Great Places to Work. In <strong>2011</strong>, JFCS was<br />

named a Top Workplace by the Minneapolis StarTribune.<br />
