Explore Hereford’s famous medieval map and discover how scholars
interpreted the world over 700 years ago, displayed alongside
229 illuminated manuscripts and over 1,200 early printed books.
The Mappa Mundi and Chained Library Exhibition is closed for
essential cleaning and conservation work from 1 January, reopening
on 29 January 2024.
Please note that the Exhibition, Café and Shop are closed on
Sundays including Christmas Eve, 24 – 26 December and
1 & 2 January.

ADVENT STUDY RETREAT: THE PROPHETS
Join The Right Revd Donald Allister exploring some of the
prophets in preparation for Advent. This event is free to attend;
advance booking is required via the cathedral website.
