nations and have divided up my land, and have cast lots for my people, and have
traded a boy for a prostitute, and have sold a girl for wine and have drunk it.”

2. TO PAUSE OR NOT TO PAUSE?
In 1995 Vietnam released its official estimate of the number of people killed
during Vietnam War: as many as 2,000,000 civilians on both sides and some
1,100,000 North Vietnamese and Viet Cong fighters. The U.S. military has
estimated that between 200,000 and 250,000 South Vietnamese soldiers died.
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., lists more than 58,300
names of members of the U.S. armed forces who were killed or went missing in
action. Among other countries that fought for South Vietnam, South Korea had
more than 4,000 dead, Thailand about 350, Australia more than 500, and New
Zealand some three dozen.
No one knows with certainty how many people have been killed and wounded
in Iraq since the 2003 United States invasion. However, we know that between
280,771-315,190 have died from direct war related violence caused by the U.S.,
its allies, the Iraqi military and police, and opposition forces from the time of the
invasion through March 2023.
In Afghanistan, 243,000 have been killed since 2001.
At least 350,209 people have been killed in 10 years of war in Syria, the UN says
in its first official death toll since 2014.
None of these wars were fought on U.S. soil.
None were ever won by the U.S.
Some are ongoing to this day!
Most importantly, there were no “pauses”!

Does Israel not have the right to use a strategy of war on their soil contrary to
those of the U.S. that have failed in the past?
