As a compassionate council, a key priority<br />
is helping everyone in our borough<br />
through the cost-<strong>of</strong>-living crisis<br />
We know how worried residents are<br />
about food and fuel bills, keeping<br />
warm and the rising cost <strong>of</strong> owning<br />
and renting a home.<br />
The council has come together<br />
with community groups, residents<br />
and organisations to <strong>of</strong>fer lots <strong>of</strong><br />
support for residents and businesses<br />
this winter.<br />
This includes hardship crisis<br />
payments, fuel vouchers, funding<br />
for warm meals and food banks,<br />
free school breakfasts and free<br />
home care, support for businesses,<br />
advice stalls in shopping areas,<br />
money management classes and<br />
much more.<br />
