Erica
Montgomery
Erica is a vibrant Latina graphic
designer on a mission to captivate
her audience with impactful
designs. Her creative pursuits
are deeply rooted in her passion
for human rights, environmental
stewardship, and the art of
storytelling. Beyond her design
work, Erica’s creative spirit
thrives from her yoga practice, the
rhythms of music and the beauty
of the great outdoors.
With a diverse skill set that spans
concept development, leadership,
and project management, Erica
thrives in bringing her visions to
life. Her artistic toolbox includes
illustration, photography, and the
blending of various tangible art
modalities into her work.
Erica is a second-year student
at FRCC. She plans to continue
her education at Colorado State
University, where she will pursue
a bachelor’s in graphic design.
What truly ignites Erica’s spirit
is the opportunity to make a
difference in the world through her
craft. Helping others and solving
complex challenges bring her joy,
driving her to create designs that
not only inspire but also advocate
for positive change.
Jillian Wentzel
Jillian is a second-year MGD
student with a strong creative
background. She honed her artistic
skills during her formative years at
a Waldorf school, where creativity
was paramount. Following high
school, she earned her Bachelor of
Arts in Human Development and
Family Studies from Metropolitan
State University of Denver in
2021. Jillian’s journey led her to
explore graphic design, and she
began her studies at FRCC in the
fall of 2022. Her dedication and
learning led her to a graphic design
internship opportunity offered at
Transamerica.
This fall, Jillian eagerly returns to
school after a rewarding summer
that deepened her understanding
of the importance of collaboration,
organization, and technical
design skills. In addition to her
contributions to AVANTART
Magazine, she is taking Graphic
Design 1 and Point of Purchase
Packaging. Jillian is also staying

busy with part-time jobs, including
creating content for the MGD
department’s social media, serving
as the co-art director/project
manager in Phase2 Agency, and
working part-time as a freelance
designer at Savage Design Co.
Upon graduation, Jillian aspires to
pursue a career in layout design,
social media marketing, or project
development. After her positive
Internship at Transamerica, she
hopes to work there again during
her career.
