The border between the United
States of America and the United
Mexican States
It crosses large urban areas and inhospitable areas; it
runs along the Rio Grande (known in the United States
as the Rio Grande), the Sonora and Chihuahuan deserts,
part of the Colorado River and reaches northern
Baja California. According to the International Boundary
and Water Commission it has a length of 3,185
kilometers (1,951 miles).
Atraviesa grandes áreas urbanas y zonas inhóspitas;
corre a lo largo del Río Bravo (conocido en Estados
Unidos como Río Grande),
los desiertos de Sonora y Chihuahua, parte del río Colorado
y llega al norte de Baja California. Según
la Comisión Internacional de Límites y Aguas tiene una
longitud de 3185 kilómetros (1951 millas).
