As CHCA continues to innovate, one thing hasn’t
changed: our call to learn, lead, and serve. I learned these
pillars when I was a student here in the ’90s, and I still
follow them to this day. As a mom, I believe my greatest
callings have been to teach my daughter about the love
of Christ, co-lead my family along with my husband, and
serve near and far in whatever capacity God calls me.
Working at CHCA has only reinforced how learning,
leading, and serving find their way into everything I do. As
Associate Director of Upper School Admissions, I’m in an
educational environment surrounded by highly intelligent
people and am always learning something new. I lead
families through the admissions process and welcome
them into the CHCA community. And I love serving
the school by sitting on the board of FOFA; it keeps me
involved and connected to the amazing opportunities
our students have in the Fine Arts department.
I encourage you to observe how these principles have
influenced your own life and can impact what comes
next. Be constantly curious. Participate in Bible studies,
join Dr. Nicholas on trips to Israel—whatever it might be,
do something that keeps you engaged. Guide others with
humility. Many of you have returned to CHCA to teach
or coach, continuing a legacy steeped in the pursuit of
Christ. Lastly, become a beacon in your community and
ours. Help build sets for theater productions, tell others
about CHCA, and most importantly, pray for our school.
We are a family. Without you, our school would not be
what it is today. Regardless of where you find yourself at
this moment—whether you still call Cincinnati home or
have put down roots halfway across the world—you will
always be tied to CHCA through the ways in which you
learn, lead, and serve.
