I’d like to start by extending a warm welcome to Rehanne
Skinner as well as her staff, players and the supporters of
West Ham.
We came close to getting more points on the board on our
trip to Brighton and Hove Albion last weekend, and I know
the players will want to turn the frustration of that into a performance
against the Hammers this time around.
Conceding late on is tough, but it’s already been put behind
us with full focus on the next task.

We all know that this is a big game and with both teams
level on points at the foot of the table you can expect a hardfought
battle from minute one.
The players know exactly what is required of them and
they’re raring to go, as we’d expect.
We enjoyed our trip to West Ham earlier in the season as it
marked our first win since returning to the WSL.
The team had to grind that one out and the supporters who
made the trip to the capital will know what it took to get over
the line, but also what it meant.
Of course we want to recreate the result at Ashton Gate but
everyone will have to be at their best once again and we’ll
need your support from the stands too.
Be loud, urge us forward, cheer every block, tackle and save,
let’s make it difficult for our opponents.
You all have such an important part to play today and over
the next four months, so let’s hear you.
