The sight ability of the wolf
The eye reacts to electromagnetic radiation in
the range of 380-780nm. The retina has rods and
cones so that you can see colors as well as bright
and dark. L-cones are red-sensitive, M-cones are
green-sensitive and S-cones are blue-sensitive.
The wolf only has M and S-cones, that's only a
part of the whole color range. His eye reacts to
electromagnetic radiation in the range of 430nm,
that means he is most sensitive to the color
blue. So warning the wolf with the color blue is
most effectiv because he can see this color the
best. Our new signal light "Wolfsblitz" is a perfect
possibility to scare the wolf. At the same time it
is prove that your fence is working. With every
impulse 3 bright blue LED's are flashing.
