and outlining some highlight events from the <strong>2024</strong> <strong>Irish</strong> Language <strong>Week</strong> programme.<br />
Premieres on the Council’s <strong>Irish</strong> Language social media channels. Join us as we look back<br />
on this long established festival over the years. There’s a good chance that you might also<br />

Launching Monday 4 March we will be showcasing some<br />

which origi<strong>na</strong>te in the <strong>Irish</strong> <strong>language</strong> online. Throughout<br />
<strong>Irish</strong> Language <strong>Week</strong> we will feature a series of posts on our social media accounts<br />
exploring the rich heritage of our place<strong>na</strong>mes and signposting audiences to resources to<br />
help them identify the <strong>Irish</strong> <strong>language</strong> origins of their own townland and place<strong>na</strong>mes.<br />
