At Forescout we track and monitor around 600 threat actors. In 2023, they targeted 163 countries. <strong>The</strong><br />

United States was the most targeted by far, in the second place came the Unted Kingdom, then<br />

Germany, India and Japan. <strong>The</strong> vast majority of threat actors originated from China, Russia and Iran.<br />

Together, these three countries accounted <strong>for</strong> almost half of threat actor groups in our database.<br />

Government, Financial Services, and Media and Entertainment were the industries most targeted by<br />

these actors.<br />
