<strong>Enrico</strong> <strong>Fels</strong> is a Lecturer at the Center for Global Studies (CGS), University Bonn. He has a Masters degree from the Australian National<br />

University, where he also was a T.B. Millar Scholar in Strategic and Defence Studies, and holds a Bachelors degree from<br />

Ruhr-University Bochum. Before joining CGS, he worked as a Research Assistant for the <strong>Institut</strong>e of International Relations at the<br />

Helmut Schmidt University/University of the Federal Armed Forces, Hamburg, as well as at the Chair of International Relations,<br />

Ruhr-University Bochum. <strong>Enrico</strong> <strong>Fels</strong> is an elected member of the faculty board of the Faculty of Arts (University of Bonn) and Managing<br />

Editor of the series „Global Power Shift – Comparative Analysis and Perspectives“ (http://www.springer.com/series/10201).<br />

He is particularly interested in traditional and non-traditional security issues, esp. in an European, Asian and Asian-Pacific context,<br />

as well as power relations among members of the G20.<br />
