This fascinating and scenic day out involves fab journeys on two great bus<br />

routes all the way from historic Chichester to the famous seaside town<br />

of Bognor Regis and back, then travelling through remote atmospheric<br />

<strong>Sussex</strong> countryside to the delightful village of Selsey. Charming and<br />

historic villages, serene sandy beaches - this trip is ideal for nature and<br />

heritage lovers and provides a fun day out for all.<br />

09:00 Join the 700 bus at Chichester Bus Station (Bay 8) for a scenic ride<br />

to Bognor Regis<br />

09:35 Alight the bus at Bognor Regis Railway Station and check out<br />

Heygates Book Shop which is next to the station entrance<br />

Devour this truly amazing, independent book shop where you can lose<br />

yourself in this literary emporium and also enjoy a coffee and chat with the<br />

friendly owner Jason.<br />

10:00 Enjoy a 10 minute southerly stroll past independent coffee shops<br />

and chains to Bognor Regis High Street<br />

10:25 Board the number 600 bus in Bognor Regis High Street (Stop B)<br />

towards Pagham<br />

10:45 Disembark the bus at Pagham Parade and take a short walk to the<br />

seafront and Pagham Beach<br />

Pagham Beach features a shoreline approximately 1 ½ miles long. At low tide,<br />

expansive stretches of beach are unveiled, allowing folk to explore tidal pools<br />

and collect seashells. There’s some lovely cafes straddling the beach too!<br />
