Without going too deep into specifics, I am at an age where others may expect<br />
me to be retired. But I’m just not mentally there yet. Yes, I love spending a week<br />
or two on the beach in Florida, and I enjoy the occasional round of golf and game<br />
of pickleball. But the truth is, I get a great deal of joy and satisfaction from creating<br />
and building businesses.<br />
While the missions of those businesses seem to vary—publishing, digital<br />
media, pet containment products, dog parks, travel, restaurants, entertainment<br />
venues, event marketing, brewing and distilling, they all generally fall under a<br />
large umbrella—home and leisure.<br />
Hence the name of my latest venture, Home & Leisure, a publication that<br />
pulls all those threads together and offers consumers valuable information<br />
and incredible deals for help around their homes, or ideas for their spare time<br />
enjoyment.<br />
This issue, our fourth, has a great blend of both. There’s a comprehensive<br />
article on decking options which covers the latest in technology and material<br />
selection. We have tips and recipes for incredible summer grill outs, and outdoor<br />
lighting selections to make your home glow. Plus—my favorite feature—lots of<br />
attractive offers that will save you money both around the house and out on<br />
the town.<br />
