Monday, June 24 to Thursday, June 27. 

MONDAY, JUNE 24 • TRAVEL DAY 

You can board the bus at Sibley or Sheldon, IA. We’ll stop that afternoon at 

the famous Lambert’s Restaurant, included in the tour. That’s the legendary 

eating place known for throwing rolls to, and sometimes at, their patrons. More 

important, the restaurant is well known for its fantastic selection and huge 

portions. Later, we’ll check in at the Savannah Motel, Branson, where we will 

stay all three nights. 

TUESDAY, JUNE 25 • SPEND THE DAY ON THE 

‘GREAT PASSION PLAY’ GROUNDS 

The entrance fee, lunch and dinner are all included in the tour package. Spend 

late morning and afternoon hours taking in the Christ of the Ozarks statue, 

attending Bible background talks, walking through the reproduction of the 

Holy Land, listening to the Parables of the Potter, visiting the sacred arts and 

history museum, and greeting some of the live animals at Noah’s Park Zoo. That 

evening we’ll gather for the GREAT PASSION PLAY with a cast of over 125 plus 

live animals. 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26 • ATTEND “SMOKE ON THE MOUNTAIN” 

AND “QUEEN ESTHER” 

The day will start with the hilarious, wholesome, “Smoke on the Mountain” 

production which will take us back to 1930’S Mt. Pleasant, NC, Baptist Church 

and the life and times of the Sanders family. This musical comedy combines 

classic gospel tunes with sidesplitting humor. Included is an old-fashioned 

Saturday night singalong of familiar hymns as I’ll Fly Away, Power In the Blood 

and Church In The Wildwood. That afternoon we’ll attend the Sight and Sound 

Theatre’s presentation of “Queen Esther”. 

THURSDAY, JUNE 27 • HEAD BACK HOME 

Our Thursday drive time will give us plenty of time to reflect on our many 

spiritual and fellowship experiences in just two days. We will stop along the way 

at the huge Osceola Cheese Outlet to stock up on traveling candy and cheese to 

take home.
