Basic Description 

Sunshine Foods is growing and 

now hiring a meat cutter at our Rock 

Valley Store. No meat cutting experience required, 

we will help you learn the skills you need to cut meat and 

raits of the meat department. Some food service or retail experience 

would be good, but not necessary. Looking for that someone who is energetic, 

detail-oriented, and enjoys making decisions. If you’re looking for that career change or want to

Major Responsibilities 

1. Prepares cut list for the day and cuts merchandise, grinds and 

tenderizes meats. 

2. Package, wrap, weigh and label product. 

3. Reviews the status and appearance of the food for freshness and 

stocks/rotates product. 

4. Help assist in ordering and the pricing of the meat department. 

5. Monitors refrigeration for proper temperatures.

Working Conditions 

This is a fast-paced working environment. You will be on your feet for long periods of time, and
