Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences<br />
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences under Sushrutu School of Medical and Paramedical Sciences<br />
started functioning from August 2010. The mission of the Department is to impart knowledge and produce high quality<br />
pharma professional to meet the demand of accelerating pharma industry in <strong>Assam</strong> in Particular and India in general.<br />
The department has a clear vision and objective, in its quest <strong>for</strong> a quality centre <strong>for</strong> learning and development of<br />
Pharmacy. The major course papers of B. Pharma programme are pharmaceutics, pharmacology, pharmaceutical<br />
chemistry and pharmacognosy.<br />
The Department is fully geared and prepared <strong>for</strong> the first batch of students from the academic year <strong>2011</strong>-<strong>2012</strong>.<br />
