This product is a water resistant
and water clear conversion
coating. Formulated using
European Polymer Technology,
it creates a high build, high
performance system which
combines the durability and
chemical resistance of
a conversion varnish with the
ease of application of the highest quality furniture
lacquers. It is ultra low in VOC’S and virtually free of
HAP’s . This product meets or exceeds the rigid test
requirements of the National Kitchen Cabinet
Association. Ultra-Lac is designed for general interior
wood work, furniture, and cabinets where extra
durability is required. This premium post catalyzed
lacquer is formulated for the cabinet maker or
furniture producer who demands excellent durability
and water resistance. Use only industrial colorants
formulated for use in lacquers. For toning use our
Super Penetrating NGR Dye Stain for maximum
clarity.

What is HAPs Compliant?
HAPs stands for hazardous air pollutants. This is an air quality standard that is being gradually phased into the wood finishing industry. This
regulation calls for a reduction in a variety of emissions taken from a list of 189 HAPs. HAPs compliant finishes have been formulated
especially for compliance on these issues.
Do I have to use these low HAPs products, and how will they effect what I do?
You will need to consult your local or state air quality agencies to determine this. However, many small shops are exempt from this standard.
Many small shop owners have chosen to use the low HAPs products for quality, as well as environmental issues. The low HAPs formulated
products normally have a thin viscosity and require less thinning to get to spray viscosity. Because of this, you will produce a faster build than
most traditional coatings.

Premium Precatalyzed Lacquer

This precatalyzed lacquer is a
high solids coating that is at
spray grade right out of the can.
This product requires no
thinning, thus less coats are
needed for a full finish. A tough
and durable finish that is
resistant to water and mild
household chemicals. It is a
single component lacquer and
does not require the separate
addition of a hardener. Clears can be used as a self
sealing system and are a low HAP’s formula. This
product meets or exceeds the rigid test requirements
of the National Kitchen Cabinet Association. Premium
Pre-cat is designed for general interior wood work,
furniture, and cabinets where good durability is
required. This premium precatalyzed lacquer is
formulated for the cabinet maker or furniture producer
who demands good durability and water resistance.
