Having a look at air:<br />

Situated on Amberg’s prettiest square, the historic “Klösterl”<br />

(“little convent”) complex dating from the 14th century with the<br />

fitting epithet “Engelsburg” (“angel’s castle”) offers unique<br />

showroom space on three levels (650 square meters) dedicated<br />

to the subject air …<br />

air can be experienced and comprehended.<br />

The AIR MUSEUM shows the “airparc” (on loan from Festo AG<br />

& Co. KG, designed and constructed in 2004 by Wilhelm Koch,<br />

Oskar Lottner, Andreas Schönberger) – all grey painted large<br />

objects.<br />

Apart from exhibitions there are talks, readings, guided tours<br />

and concerts. On the ground floor there are changing exhibitions<br />

on design, architecture, art, technology and everyday art.<br />

The AIR MUSEUM was founded as a private initiative at the<br />

beginning of 2006 and is financed by donations and air helpers<br />

without any public funding.<br />
