Familial ovarian cancer syndromes • Family history of ovarian cancer – One 1˚ or 2˚ relative increases lifetime risk of ovarian CA from 1.6% to 5% • Lynch II – Cancers of colon, breast, endometrium, ovary – 3-14% lifetime risk ovarian CA • Hereditary breast-ovarian cancer syndrome – BRCA1: 35-45% will develop ovarian CA – BRCA2: 15-25%
