Professional storyteller and writer Liz Weir sensitively addresses issues of absence, separation and change within the family unit. Formerly children's librarian for the city of Belfast, Liz works extensively in schools and prisons, and travels the world telling stories to adults and children. The first book, Will Gallows and the Snake Bellied Troll, was selected for the Richard and Judy Book Club and as a Blue Peter Book of the Month. Elton John’s company Rocket Pictures has optioned film rights for the series – keep your eyes peeled for a Will Gallows film coming soon! Derek Keilty runs a thriving schools programme, taking storytelling and creative writing workshops around schools across the UK.
