<strong>The</strong> sepulchral monuments and slabs will next claim<br />
attention. Numbered in succession from the west door<br />
along the south aisle, the more notable of these are indicated<br />
by black numerals on a plain white ticket. Per-<br />
mission <strong>to</strong> bury in the Abbey Church was vested in the<br />
Dukes of Hamil<strong>to</strong>n as Hereditary Keepers.<br />

Which ennobled their earthly affection,<br />
By elevating each vow and desire<br />
In one undeviating course,<br />

GEORGE, LORD REAY, died 27th February 1768,<br />
Aged 34.<br />
ELIZABETH, LADY REAY, died loth November 1800,<br />
