On S<strong>at</strong>urday, September 26th, <strong>Ronald</strong> <strong>McDonald</strong> <strong>House</strong> <strong>at</strong> <strong>Stanford</strong> celebr<strong>at</strong>ed its 30th anniversary<br />
with a Family Reunion party.<br />
The approxim<strong>at</strong>ely 300 guests were entertained by jugglers, a magician, face painters, a petting<br />
zoo, and the Furry Friends group. Snow cones, hot dogs, popcorn and ice cream helped complete<br />
the carnival <strong>at</strong>mosphere. On display were four of the quilts cre<strong>at</strong>ed to commemor<strong>at</strong>e the milestone.<br />
The party culmin<strong>at</strong>ed with a competition in which four local bakers displayed enormous and uniquely decor<strong>at</strong>ed<br />
cakes they had cre<strong>at</strong>ed for the occasion. Celebrity judges Kristi Yamaguchi, Charlie Ayers and K<strong>at</strong>e Paye declared<br />
the winner to be Not Just Cheesecakes, while the People’s Choice Award went to Jen’s Cakes.<br />
