lola & grace launches a<br />
new store at Brent Cross<br />
New fashion jewellery brand, lola & grace, has<br />
opened its second store in Brent Cross, North<br />
London. The company releases four seasonal<br />
collections throughout the year and is known for<br />
its blend of contemporary style and traditional<br />
glamour. It offers customers a colourful and<br />
sparkling selection of dynamic jewellery,<br />
including Swarovski crystals and pearls set<br />
within an array of materials.<br />
The first lola & grace store launched in<br />
Westfield shopping centre on 8 th March earlier<br />
this year.<br />
Vice President of lola & grace, Nina Müller,<br />
said: “We are very excited to announce the<br />
opening of our second London store this<br />
summer. Our richly diverse collection is inspired<br />
by the latest trends and offers a variety of styles,<br />
with an eclectic mix of materials and Swarovski<br />
crystals reflecting the young and playful spirit of<br />
lola & grace.”<br />
The launch on 12 th July started off with a<br />
jewellery exchange, where the first 50 visitors<br />
received a lola & grace voucher to spend in<br />
store. Customers were treated to drinks and<br />
canapés as well as 20 per cent off all purchases.<br />
lola & grace will no doubt continue its success<br />
as sister brand to the prestigious Swarovski<br />

LCF GRADUATES SCORE FOUR ITS AWARDS IN ITALY<br />
For the fourth year in a row, London College of Fashion (LCF) graduates have<br />
been triumphant in the accessories and jewellery categories at the International<br />
Talent Support (ITS) awards.<br />
Benjamin John Hall won the YKK AWARD, with a prize of €10,000 and the<br />
possibility of promotional advertising. The award was judged on the designer’s<br />
ability to enhance an accessory or artwork in an original and technically advanced<br />
way by using a YKK fastening system, as well as the production of the finalist’s<br />
design should highlight the combination of functional meaning with an element of<br />
beauty. Benjamin graduated from the college in 2003 with a degree in footwear.<br />
Ana Rajcevic was awarded <strong>Accessories</strong> Collection Of The Year with a prize of<br />
€8,000, and the opportunity to be on the ITS 2013 jury. Offered by EVE, the prize<br />
of €8,000 is to be put towards the creation of a new accessories collection of at least<br />
five pieces, which will be presented to the press and public at the next edition in<br />
2013. In addition, Ana’s new collection will be exhibited during the ModAmont<br />
September 2012 show and feature in the show’s catalogue and website. Ana<br />
graduated in 2012 from MA Fashion Artefact.<br />
Victoria Spruce won the Vogue Talents Award for accessories, with a prize of<br />
a photoshoot with a Vogue Italia photographer, to be published on the website<br />
alongside an interview and press support for five months. Victoria graduated from<br />
the BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear course in 2008.<br />
Xiao Zi Yang won the Swarovski Elements Jewellery Award with a prize of<br />
€10,000 and a six month internship. The goal of the Swarovski Elements project,<br />
ITS JEWELLERY is to create new, wearable pieces of crystal jewellery using<br />
Swarovski Elements, with a mix of materials inspired by various ethnic influences.<br />
Xiao graduated from the MA Fashion Artefact programme this year.<br />
ITS aims to give visibility, support and a voice to young talent from every<br />
corner of the earth and offer the chance to liberate creativity through financial<br />
opportunities, work placements and occasions to have their work shown to a jury<br />
made up of real experts. ITS comprises three competitions: ITS FASHION, ITS<br />
ACCESSORIES and ITS JEWELLERY.<br />
The jury is made up of some of the most important fashion luminaries in the<br />
world, including fashion designers, Viktor&Rolf; Hilary Alexander - Fashion<br />
Director The Daily Telegraph; Bruno Collin - Artistic Director at Diesel and Sarah<br />
Williams – LCF alumnus and winner of <strong>Accessories</strong> Collection of the Year at<br />
ITS#NINE.<br />
