Th ree fashion packed days of enticing accessory<br />
and footwear collections, catwalk shows, industry<br />
experts and advice all await visitors to Moda,<br />
which will take place at the NEC, Birmingham<br />
from Sunday 9 th to Tuesday 11 th August.<br />
Th is edition of Moda <strong>Accessories</strong> will showcase<br />
the latest collections from a variety of the leading<br />
accessory names in the industry. Stunning jewellery<br />
from Big Metal, Adele Marie, Chartage and<br />
Kelevra can be snapped up at the show, whilst<br />
those in search of brilliant handbags will be more<br />
than satisfi ed by the brilliant collections from<br />
prized exhibitors such as Smith & Canova, Bulaggi<br />
and Dents. Th e wonderful designs from millinery<br />
label W Fischer & Sons is just one example of<br />
some of the fantastic hats that can be found at the<br />
show and the beautiful scarves from Pia Rossini,<br />
Milans and Passigatti will top off a fabulous visit.<br />
More new and contemporary names will be<br />
welcomed by Moda Footwear this season, all of<br />
whom have chosen to increase their market reach<br />
by exhibiting at this pleasingly diverse show. Big<br />
name brands including CAT footwear, Ikon, Xti<br />
footwear, Ravel, Moda in Pelle, and Base London<br />
will all be providing buyers with a comprehensive<br />
overview of spring/summer 2010. Stylish, value<br />
orientated footwear from hot brand Blowfi sh<br />
makes a great contribution to the event, as does<br />
the glamorous yet functional collection from<br />
Holster and the iconic range from sportswear<br />
brand K Swiss. Alongside the impressive line<br />
up of established favourites is a raft of exciting<br />
new exhibitors such as the hugely popular and<br />
unconventional brand Fly London.<br />
Moda Footwear will once again be subdivided<br />
into sectors for buyers’ convenience following the<br />
success of the format that was introduced last<br />

As the UK’s largest fashion trade event Moda is set to<br />
thrill visitors with exciting brands, important advice and<br />
strong product lines. Read on to fi nd out more...<br />
Express zone, mainstream and comfort brands<br />
are at home in the Essential zone, Life unites all<br />
unisex and lifestyle brands whilst Boutique is the<br />
place to fi nd women’s fashion lines. A specialist<br />
area is dedicated to children’s footwear, to provide<br />
retailers with a wider choice of brands than has<br />
ever been off ered before.<br />
A highly benefi cial range of free seminars will<br />
again be hosted by the event covering important<br />
retail issues. Retail expert Dennis Reid will tackle<br />
‘beating the downturn in trading’ by looking at<br />
customer retention, upskilling, increased sales and<br />
service performance, alongside Shopworks founder,<br />
Craig Phillipson. With some of the world’s best<br />
known retailers as customers, Shopworks off ers<br />
proven sales increases from it’s research and design.<br />
Craig will off er expertise and advice at Moda on<br />
‘the customer journey through the store’ looking at<br />
retail planning and design.<br />
