As a Junior: Started four matches at No. 5
singles and 13 matches at the number six spot
• Provided one of the most dramatic moments
of the season, fighting off leg cramps to defeat
Andre Iriarte 6-3, 6-7, 6-1 •, Defeated Brad
Mixson at #6 singles to spark UNC’s win over
FSU in the ACC tournament.
As a Sophomore: • Had an overall singles
mark of 20-12, including a brilliant 16-6 in dual
matches •Started most of the season at No.5
and No. 6 singles spots • Went undefeated at
No. 5 singles with a record of 7-0 • Won 13 of
15 singles matches in a stretch from January
