Used in NR, CR, CSM, ECO, NbR, EPDM/EP, latex<br />

compounds and in polyolefins.<br />

Unifoam AZ Hebron Azodicarbonamide – Exothermic chemical blowing agent for<br />

fine pored and regular foams, e.g. insulation foams made<br />

from synthetic rubber. The pure ADC is available in various<br />

particle sizes ranging from 3.5 to 23 µm, both as standard<br />

and as low-dust Ultra series. For low temperature applications<br />

also modified grades with kicker are available.<br />

Co-stabilisers Epovinstab Hebron Epoxidised Soybean Oil. Secondary Plasticiser and Co-Stabiliser.<br />

Yellow liquid, available in drums, IbC‘s as well as bulk<br />

to be applied as a co-stabiliser because of its good heat resistence<br />

and as secondary plasticiser for rubber, e.g. rubber<br />

mixtures for conveyor belts or other technical rubber parts.<br />

Zinkfluid baerlocher 40% dispersion of a zinc stearate. Avoids sticking of semi-<br />

and finished parts during dipping or spraying. Does not leave<br />

Release properties can be varied by dilution to 10,5%<br />

or 3%.<br />

Zinc oxide Zinkoxid Empils Zinc Metal oxide made by pyrogenic oxidation: Activator for<br />

sulphur-vulcanisation and curing agent for carboxyl and<br />

halogen-contenting rubber. Acid acceptor for peroxide curing.<br />

In higher dosage also improvement of elastic properties and<br />

heat resistance during dynamic forces of the rubber.<br />

Copolymer resins, alkylaromatic/cycloaliphatic resins. Necirès<br />

LF resins are used in inks, coatings, adhesives, rubber, concrete<br />

curing and foundry applications.<br />

Aromatic, chemically inert, and non-saponifiable C9 resins,<br />

promoting filler wetting and viscosity control, along with tack<br />

and adhesion; in adhesives (suitable for solventbased, pressuresensitive<br />

and hot-melt adhesives) and caulks to improve<br />

tack and bond strength; and in rubber compounds as a processing<br />

aid.<br />

Diisononyl-Phthalate and Diisodecyl-Phthalat are high molecular<br />

weight standard plasticizers on phthalate basis; DINP<br />

and DIDP are applied to improve the processibility of NR, bR,<br />

SbR, NbR, CR, ECO, ACM and AEM. Due to the branching of<br />

the alcohol chains DINP and DIDP provide a high migration<br />

resistance und a low volatility.<br />

Diisoundecyl-Phthalate is a high molecular weight special<br />

plasticizer on phthalate basis. Due to its low fogging values<br />

and high migration resistance DIUP is used in automotive applications,<br />

e.g. car interior. DIUP can be applied in NR, bR,<br />

SbR, NbR, CR, ECO, ACM and AEM.<br />

Ditridecyl-Phthalate is a very high molecular weight special<br />

plasticizer on phthalate basis. Due to its very high molecular<br />

weight und the outstanding low volatility DTDP is recommended<br />

for high temperature applications, such as high-voltage<br />

cables and for parts inside or close to the engine.<br />

Paganini Oils (370P – 4500P) are paraffinic Group I oils (processing<br />

oils) without labeling obligation and a high content of<br />

aromatic hydrocarbons. The main applications are in the rubber,<br />

paint and plastic industry. benefits: low ash content, low<br />

aniline point, low asphalt content and a low loss of vaporization.<br />

Puccini Oils (4P – 475P) are paraffinic Group I oils (processing<br />

oils) with the main application in the rubber and printing inks<br />

industry. benefits: Core cuts with low sulphur contents<br />

(< 0,3%), color fastness, bright color, minimal vaporization<br />

loss when heated, low contents of aromatics and good oxidation<br />

stability.

beside SbR is butadiene rubber (bR) the second largest<br />

volume synthetic rubber used. bR has an excellent elasticity<br />

and abrasion resistance. The major use of bR is in tires.<br />

Further application fields are technical rubber goods, golfballs<br />

and shoe soles.<br />

Dakren TM Daiso Dakren CPE in an elastomer with good resistance against<br />

ageing and agressive medias. These powdered material is<br />

mainly used as plasticizer in PVC, PE, AbS; elastomer outer<br />

layers of fuel hoses, turbocharger hoses and as covering for<br />

cables. The Dakren TM products (1035, 1035H, 1035UH etc.)<br />

are different in chlorine content and mooney viscosity.<br />

Skyprene ® Tosoh Skyprene CR is a synthetic rubber with extraordinary properties<br />

in case of resistance against weather conditions, oil and<br />

many aggressive chemicals. Additional CR has a very good<br />

resistance against mechanical usage and is flame-resistant.<br />

Applications: several usages in the automotive industry.<br />

TOSO-CSM ® Tosoh CSM based on HDPE. Elastomer with high resistance against<br />

oils and hot air, as well as good weather resistance. Available<br />

are several different grades: TS-530, TS-830, TS-430 etc. who<br />

are different in viscosity and chlorine content. Application:<br />

Fuel hoses, hydraulic hose systems, power steering hoses,<br />

cable covers a.o.<br />

EPICHLOMER ® Daiso ECO has a balanced heat-, oil-, low temperature- and ozone<br />

resistance. Therefore it is used in fuel systems, membranes<br />

and engine hoses. Further applications are copy-rolls and<br />

membranes who require special flexibility in low temperature<br />

areas.<br />

EPDM is used in the automotive, construction and electronic<br />

industry and for technical rubber goods. It has an excellent<br />

resistance against UV radiation, ozone, heat and humidity and<br />

it is mostly resistance against acid and bases. EPDM has also<br />

a good durability and a very high elasticity (temperature range<br />

-40° C to +120° C).<br />

Available are: VDF-HFP Copolymer (FE2601), VDF-HFP-<br />

TFE Terpolymer (FE2462, FE2463), TFE Propene Copolymer<br />

(FE2701), Precompound (FE2651), Fluorosilicone elastomer<br />

(FE2801, FE2802, FE2803); benefits: Excellent heat, chemical<br />

resistance; resistant to nearly all inorganic/organic chemicals.<br />

Silastic ® Dow Corning Silastic ® and RbL ® are Liquid Silicone Rubbers which cure<br />

by polyaddition. The products are always delivered with Part<br />

A and b, which are mostly used in a 1:1 ratio.<br />

Styrene-butadiene-Rubber (SbR) is the most widely used<br />

synthetic rubber and is applicable in many different fields.<br />

It is primarily used for the production of tires, flooring, conveyor<br />

belts, shoe soles, seals and and has a good heat stability,<br />

abrasion and ageing resistance.<br />

Solution SbR (S-SbR) is mainly used for treads of environmentally<br />

friendly tires (Green Tire). S-SbR in combination with<br />

silica reduced the rolling resistance which has a positive effect<br />

on the fuel consumption and the CO 2 emission. Furthermore,<br />

the durability as well as the wet traction improved.<br />

Henkel Water based semi-permanent release agents for multiple releases<br />

of rubber parts. The Frekote ® Aqualine ® R Products have a<br />

thermal stability up to 315°C to 400°C after curing. There is no<br />

contamination of the molded part during the molding process.<br />

Frekote ® HMT Henkel Solvent based release agent for multiple releases of rubber<br />

parts. These products are especially for application on hot<br />

molds > 60°C. The Frekote ® HMT-2 is less moisture sensitive.<br />

multiple releases of PU parts. Molded parts can be painted or<br />
