Major Scientific Interests
Clinically I concentrate on the evaluation of
• fertility-preserving surgery in patients with cervical cancer,
• quality of life preserving interdisciplinary treatment modalities in patients with
cervical, endometrial, or ovarian cancer, severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and
pelvic floor disorders, and
• primary and secondary prevention of gynecologic cancer.
My translational research activities are
• development of therapeutic vaccination against HPV associated disease of the lower
genital tract and
• non-invasive therapy of endometriosis and fibroids.
