Major Scientific Interests<br />
Clinically I concentrate on the evaluation of<br />
• fertility-preserving surgery in patients with cervical cancer,<br />
• quality of life preserving interdisciplinary treatment modalities in patients with<br />
cervical, endometrial, or ovarian cancer, severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and<br />
pelvic floor disorders, and<br />
• primary and secondary prevention of gynecologic cancer.<br />
My translational research activities are<br />
• development of therapeutic vaccination against HPV associated disease of the lower<br />
genital tract and<br />
• non-invasive therapy of endometriosis and fibroids.<br />
