Cycling Team have managed<br />

3663 Golf Day<br />

teed off nicely<br />

A great day was had by all on<br />

the 23rd September at the<br />

3663 Key Supplier Charity<br />

Golf Day which was held at<br />

the prestigious Moor Park Golf<br />

Club. The event raised a very<br />

impressive £35,000 for the<br />

charity.<br />

HA invited to high<br />

tea at Highgrove<br />

The stunning gardens at Highgrove<br />

On the 1st September HRH The Prince of<br />

Wales very kindly allowed <strong>Hospitality</strong> <strong>Action</strong><br />

an exclusive tour of the gardens at Highgrove<br />

which was preceded by a delicious lunch<br />

at Calcot Manor. This event raised almost<br />

£12,000.<br />

Mosimann’s festive fundraiser<br />

On the 30th November Anton<br />

Mosimann, one of the worlds most<br />

respected and influential chefs, hosted<br />

a festive fundraising dinner for HA.<br />

Guests experienced a carefully crafted<br />

five-course culinary masterpiece with<br />

many of the club’s signature dishes.<br />

Set in a beautifully converted 19th<br />

century church, the magnificent<br />

surroundings enhanced the evening’s<br />

seasonal cheer and goodwill whilst<br />

raising £13,000.<br />

Breakfast Briefing – Protecting our<br />

Industry Against Alcohol And Drug Misuse<br />

Since 2007, the Ark for Business<br />

has worked with a growing number<br />

of companies across the hospitality<br />

sector, helping them to implement<br />

best practice in managing the risks<br />

presented by alcohol and drugs in<br />

the workplace. A breakfast briefing<br />

on 18th November at Rubens at<br />

the Palace Hotel provided senior<br />

industry colleagues an opportunity<br />

The Manchester Hoteliers<br />

Association do it again!<br />

Over 500 people gathered at the<br />

Manchester Hoteliers Association<br />

Ball on the 29th October at the<br />

newly refurbished Ramada Jarvis<br />

Piccadilly Hotel. Each year the MHA<br />

celebrates its people through a high<br />

profile charity Ball. This year the big<br />

hearted hoteliers community dug<br />

deep and over £10,000 was raised<br />

for HA.<br />

Le Manoir raises<br />

funds for HA<br />

£10,000 was recently raised by the<br />

team at Le Manoir, one of the most<br />

illustrious gastronomic and luxury<br />

hotels in Britain and on the 8th<br />

January Raymond Blanc presented<br />

a cheque to Penny Moore outside a<br />

very snowy Le Manoir!<br />

Patrick Dempsey, Premier Inn was<br />

Inn’s hard work in raising almost<br />

£700,000 over the past couple of<br />

years. The whole team have been<br />

furiously fundraising, from pyjama<br />

parties to mountain climbing to how<br />

could we forget…their Purple Hair<br />

Day!<br />

On Friday <strong>14</strong>th May 2010 at the Rockingham Forest hotel in Corby former colleagues who worked for Crest Hotels<br />

will gather for what may be their last annual reunion. Money will be donated to the Ducks chosen charity, <strong>Hospitality</strong><br />
