DIOCESES OF NORTHERN SUDAN
The Diocese of El Obeid: Pray for Bishop Ismail as he encourages the Diocese in
new efforts in peace-making and the re-establishment of worshipping and witnessing
churches in the Diocese. The troubles in Darfur rumble on and it is hard as a
Christian minister to get access to Darfur.
DIOCESE OF SOUTHWESTERN VIRGINIA
Pray for the people and mission of Emmanuel, Covington, and for their priest
LeBaron T. Taylor. Pray also for safe travel for the youth and leaders returning to
their parishes at the conclusion of (Youth) Happening #5 in Roanoke. Pray for the
Deans of Convocations as the spring convocations (deanery synods) begin this
afternoon with the Augusta Convocation. Pray for those meeting at the Province III
Synod. Give thanks for the ministry of all retired clergy, their spouses and survivors.
