On March 23, the Affordable Health Care for America Act became<br />

the law of the land. Years of arguing between Democrats and<br />

Republicans and liberals and conservatives have finally come to a<br />

rather anti-climatic end. Small businesses were frequently the focus<br />

of discussions leading up to the act and with good reason. This article<br />

takes a look at some of the small business provisions, effective dates,<br />

Now in its 75 th year, <strong>Mazzei</strong> <strong>Flying</strong> <strong>Service</strong> still operates from its<br />

original Fresno, Calif., location at Fresno-Yosemite International<br />

Airport. Jim Brannan, president and chief flight instructor, has<br />

owned <strong>Mazzei</strong> since 1977 and has continued to focus the company<br />

on its highly regarded flight training niche, which includes both<br />

helicopter and fixed-wing instruction.<br />
