and teas. Kate Ring, a missionary
with Wycliffe Bible
Translators, will
be our speaker.
Program is from
11 am-1 pm.

Dinner Concert with
with Damaris Carbaugh
Friday, December 7
Damaris Carbaugh has known the
heights of success in the New York
recording community. She’s sung on
commercial jingles for some of the
world’s biggest advertisers, including
Coca Cola, Pepsi, Kentucky Fried
Chicken, Minute Maid and Wrigley’s
Double Mint Gum. Yet the desire of
her heart is to be a servant of Christ.
“I don’t want a ‘career,’” she says, “I
want to be faithful.”
Her depth of love and devotion for
her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,
is so evident through her special
gift of song and
powerful speaking
ministry. You
will be moved

as Damaris

servant’s heart through her beautiful
voice and personality which reflects
her personal spiritual journey. This talented
musician was a featured soloist
with the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir
and regularly appeared on the “Day
of Discovery” television program.
“The Collection” is the latest of her
fourteen albums.

A Quiet Christmas

Do seeing the words “Quiet” and
“Christmas” used in the same
sentence seem a little strange to you?
Does peace feel far removed from
your Christmas tradition? You’re not
alone. The overload and exhaustion
of everyday life leaves many of us
approaching December with a weary
sigh. Christmas can seem more about
chaos than quiet. To counteract this,
we invite you to a delightful, free
event for people of all ages. A room
called “The Quiet Corner” will include
an indoor, live nativity where you can
pause, enjoy soft music, and quietly
marvel at the wonder of Emmanuel
- God with us. “The Family Room”
will be a warm and lively place where
young and old can enjoy cookies
and hot chocolate, make a Christmas
card, or listen to beautiful Christmas
carols. Allow your heart a quiet place
to rest and ponder the meaning of
Christmas. Joy to the world, the Lord
has come! Let earth receive her King!
No cost for this event. Takes place
from 11am – 3pm in Dreyer Lodge.

Young at Heart Luncheon
Wednesday, December 12
Seniors and their friends are invited
to join with us for our Christmas
Celebration at 10:30 am followed
by lunch.
$9 per person.
