For retreats or <strong>Conference</strong>s a non-refundable $40 per person<br />

deposit is required to guarantee a reservation.<br />

Register by phone, mail, or email. Please provide your name,<br />

address, phone number, the event you wish to attend, number<br />

and names of people coming to the event and a credit card<br />

number or check with at least the deposit.<br />

For concerts or day events, full payment is required to confirm<br />

the reservation.<br />

CHECK-IN AT THE CONFERENCE<br />

Unless other arrangements have been made, rooms may be<br />

occupied after 3:30 pm on the day of arrival. Check-in is at the<br />

front desk in Dreyer Lodge.<br />

CAMP MONTROSE is an 80-acre youth campus with<br />

a large dining hall, carpeted dorms, summer cabins, chapel,<br />

gymnasium, rec hall, in-ground swimming pool and snack shop.<br />

Camp <strong>Montrose</strong> is available for your next church youth retreat.<br />

Deposit is transferrable one time to another overnight event,<br />

if cancellation occurs 14 days prior to scheduled arrival.<br />

Directions From Scranton:<br />

North I-81 to Exit 223. Follow Rte. 492 W. Turn left onto Rte. 11<br />

S. Turn right on to Rte. 706 W. At the traffic light in <strong>Montrose</strong> turn<br />

right. Follow Lake Ave around the courthouse. At the top of the<br />

hill, turn right onto Locust St. MBC is on the corner of Lake and<br />

Locust. For Camp <strong>Montrose</strong>, proceed on Lake Ave, past Locust<br />

two blocks and turn left onto <strong>Conference</strong> Rd.<br />

Directions From Binghamton:<br />

South I-81to Exit 1. Turn right off exit ramp and cross bridges. At<br />

the traffic light (facing Broome Corporate Park), turn left onto Rte.<br />

7 S. Turn right at the blinker light still following 7 south; after the<br />

NY/PA line, Rte 7 becomes Rte 29. At the traffic light in <strong>Montrose</strong><br />

turn right onto Lake Ave. Follow Lake Ave around the courthouse.<br />

At the top of the hill, turn right onto Locust St. MBC is on the<br />

corner of Lake and Locust. For Camp <strong>Montrose</strong>, proceed on Lake<br />

Ave, past Locust two blocks and turn left onto <strong>Conference</strong> Rd.<br />

Lodging Options<br />

TORREY HOME is an 1855 Victorian<br />

brick home that served as the residence<br />

of Dr. R. A. Torrey in the early 20th Century.<br />

Large guestrooms are furnished<br />

with antiques and <strong>Conference</strong> memorabilia.<br />

Rooms have private baths.<br />

DREYER MOTEL has comfortable<br />

motel-style, air-conditioned rooms<br />

adjacent to Dreyer Lodge. All rooms<br />

have private baths and most rooms<br />

have two double beds.<br />

DREYER LODGE is centrally located<br />

between Torrey Home and Dreyer Motel.<br />

This 1920s two-story lodge features a<br />

lobby with a stone fireplace, the dining<br />

room, chapel, recreation room, and gift<br />

and bookstore. Rooms have private<br />

baths.<br />

HOMESTEAD INN is three short blocks<br />

from the Torrey Home campus, adjacent<br />

to Camp <strong>Montrose</strong>. Rooms have either a<br />

private bath or a half-bath with shower<br />

room down the hall.<br />

Linens and towels are provided in guest<br />

rooms.<br />

CONFERENCE HILL CAMP<br />

GROUND & RV COURT is open<br />

May13 through October 15. The<br />

campground has large, quiet sites, a<br />

bathhouse and laundry, walking trail,<br />

and access to the swimming pool.<br />

Meals must be purchased separately.<br />
