Confirmation 2012 The sacrament of full participation in the Church Our Melbourne Grammar Service of Confirmation will be held this year on Friday 7 September at 7.30pm in the Chapel of St Peter. The Right Reverend Doctor Peter Hollingworth will preside at the service. All boys, whether or not they were baptised as infants, are invited to consider being confirmed in the Anglican Church, or baptised and confirmed. Preparation for Confirmation will take place at Wadhurst with Rev. O’Donnell over the course of 6 weeks. The preparation sessions will begin in the short week after the Queen’s birthday holiday at the end of Term 2, and continue into Term 3 during the school day. Questions? NEWS FROM FOGW What a wonderful week we had at Wadhurst last week. It started off with a well attended and constructive Class Reps meeting on Monday. The Class Reps have been doing a wonderful job organizing the many events that have been going on around the school community. Dont forget to look each week in the newsletter to keep up to date on what is happening in your house. Thursday and Friday FOGW and the Class Reps were on the deck with our Mothers Day Stall. The boys spend a lot of time considering their purchase so I hope all the Mothers appreciated their efforts on Sunday morning and had a lovely Mothers Day. Wednesday was our fabulous Mothers Day Yum Cha Lunch at Ripples Chinese restaurant in Malvern. 100 Wadhurst Mums attended as well as our special guests Greg Caldwell, Greg Hughes and Adam our Chinese exchange and we thank them for taking time out of their busy schedules to support FOGW. Also a very special thank you to Yana Wu for all her work in helping us get the event up and running. Thank you Yana. Our next event is the "Annual Wadhurst Family Breakfast" on June 21st. Save the date in your diary and the invitation will be coming out next week. This is one of the few occasions where the whole school gets together, teachers, parents, students and siblings. Its a lovely morning and there will be a delicious array of breakfast treats for everyone to enjoy. A great way to start the day. Kim Monk, President of FOGW
