In iti attempt to accommodate the tre-
that both Fifth and Sixth streets might be
widened, between the tennii courts and the
loardwalk, if funds could be found for that
purpose.
Ocean City needs all of the patronage it
qui get. The season here is too short as it
is,'and, during the few weeks that we have,
every possible visitor should be encourafed
to>come here, by making the conditions as
attractive as we can.
The additional parking facilities provided
by thojiew parking ordinance are fine, so far
COTTAGERS ABRIVING
The public ichoolg and "prep." schools in
Philadelphia and vicinity having eleied for
the.summer holiday vacation period, Ocean
City is beginning to nil with cottagers.
So long as Ocean City is noted as a
"family resort," and we hope this reputation
will continue, one may expect that conditions
of this kind will exist. Parents of children
will not leave Philadelphia until the schools,
public< and private, have closed for the
months of July and August, I
In the course of time, and this will not
be 10 lonf, the visitors to Ocean City will in-
clude many who have either paised the stags
where they have growing children or who
have no children, and, when this happens, Democrats Put Skids Under
