Online CME/CE Credit<br />

To claim your CME/CE credit online, visit learn.heart.org beginning FRIDAY,<br />

FEBRUARY 17, <strong>2012</strong> AT 12 NOON CST to complete your conference<br />

evaluation and claim your CME/CE credits.<br />

The International Attendance Verification forms will be available at<br />

Registration, located in Hall B-2.<br />

Conference Bags<br />

A complimentary conference bag will be available to registered attendees of<br />

the International Stroke Conference, the Nursing Symposium and the Pre-<br />

Conference Symposium at Registration, located in Hall B-2, First Level, of<br />

the Ernest N Morial Convention Center. Supplies are limited.<br />

Dining/Concessions<br />

Concessions, including coffee and other beverages, will be available for<br />

purchase throughout the convention center.<br />

Exhibits<br />

On Wednesday and Thursday, visit the Science and Technology Hall in Hall C,<br />

where cerebrovascular products and services will be featured.<br />

Exhibit hours: Wednesday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm<br />

Thursday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm<br />

Infants/Children in the Science and Technology Hall – Children over<br />

6 months and under the age of 18 years will not be allowed in the<br />

Science and Technology Hall. Infants under the age of 6 months will be<br />

allowed in the Science and Technology Hall during exhibit hours only.<br />

For reasons of insurance liability and safety, however, infants must be<br />

held at all times. Strollers and infant carriers will not be allowed. The<br />

parent must sign a liability waiver at the Advance Registration Desk<br />

before taking the infant into the Science and Technology Hall. Badges<br />

will be marked to reflect that permission has been given for the infant to<br />

be carried into the Science and Technology Hall.<br />

Because of limited seating capacity and the highly technical nature of the<br />

program, children are not allowed to attend presentations. For safety<br />

reasons, children are not permitted in the Poster Hall.<br />

Exhibitors<br />

A comprehensive listing of exhibitors and their products and services can be<br />

found in the Stroke News and at strokeconference.org.<br />

Guests of Speakers<br />

Guest badges will be available at Registration for immediate family members<br />

of speakers and must be returned after the presentation. Guests are not<br />

eligible for CME/CE credits.<br />

Hotel Questions<br />

A Housing Desk is located in the Attendee Services area in Hall B-2 and will<br />

be open during the onsite registration hours.<br />

International Lounge<br />

International attendees – don’t forget to stop by the International Lounge at<br />

ISC. Located in the Science and Technology Hall in Hall C in the ASA<br />

HeadQuarters, Booth 535, this is a place to meet and mingle with other<br />

international attendees and stroke leaders at the conference. International<br />

attendees may obtain an attendance verification form at one of the selfservice<br />

terminals in Registration, located in Hall B-2, First Level of the<br />

convention center.<br />

Loss of Badge Credentials<br />

The <strong>American</strong> <strong>Heart</strong> <strong>Association</strong>/<strong>American</strong> Stroke <strong>Association</strong> reserves the<br />

right to revoke or deny attendance of any registered participant, speaker,<br />

exhibitor, news media reporter, or photographer of presentations or activities<br />

at AHA/ASA scientific conferences and meetings.
