Facilities Information for New Academic Programs
Proposed Location for the Program: ABAC's current facilities are sufficient to deliver program courses.
Classes will be taught in Bowen Hall, Conger Hall, King Hall, and Health Sciences. Additionally, the
Georgia Museum of Agriculture is part ofthe ABAC campus and will serve as auxiliary space for
living/public history, museum studies, and student internships.
Floor area required for the program (gross and net square feet): 6490 square feet for classes and
offices:
10 classrooms X 528 sq. ft. of typical classroom; current facilities sufficient
11 offices X 110 sq. ft. of typical office; current facilities sufficient
Museum of Agriculture on ABAC campus: grounds consist of 5 areas: a traditional farm community of
the 1870s, an 1890s progressive farmstead, an industrial sites complex, rural town, national peanut
complex, and the Museum of Agriculture Center. Over 35 structures have been relocated to the 95-acre
site and restored or preserved.
