children. Emma Quay wanted to be a children's book illustrator from a very early
age. After moving from England to Australia in 1993 she began her illustrating
career and has since become one of Australia's most sought-after picture book
artists. She has won numerous awards, including two CBC nominations, for Bear
and Chook and Daddy's Having a Horse. Emma lives in Sydney with her husband
and two young daughters.
