Vážené dámy, vážení pánové, milí návštěvníci našich koncertů,
opět mám po roce milou příležitost promluvit k vám prostřednictvím nové
brožury s nabídkou našich koncertů na sezonu 2012–2013.
Již při prvním letmém prolistování dramaturgií příští sezony zjistíte několik
zásadních změn. Jednou z nejpodstatnějších věcí, kterou vám přinášíme,
je fakt, že jsme rozšířili počet koncertů v naší hlavní abonentní řadě
z osmi na deset. Pro Pražskou komorní filharmonii je to velmi významný
krok, neboť se nám díky tomuto aspektu podařilo rozšířit naše umělecké
portfolio v Rudolfinu, což nám umožnilo nabídnout vám více koncertů,
rozšířit naši dramaturgii a zvýšit četnost pozvání kvalitních hostů
z domova i ze zahraničí.
Mám velkou radost, že jsme pro vás zvládli připravit i další příjemná překvapení. V cyklu soudobé
hudby jsme na nadcházející sezonu přizvali ke spolupráci Petra Kofroně, který převzal uměleckou
záštitu nad celým cyklem Krásy dneška. Jistě umocněním zážitků z těchto performancí bude také
i nový alternativní prostor teatro NoD v Roxy klubu, zvolený pro tyto koncerty.
I nadále budou pokračovat s novým obsahem oblíbené koncerty pro děti v Rudolfinu. Změnu dozná
také rodinně laděný komorní cyklus, kde interpretačními hostiteli budou hráči PKF, a který bude
pořádán v charismatickém prostředí Českého muzea hudby. Potěšením pro některé z vás budou
určitě i další díly našeho hudebního projektu pro děti Notička a také se již tradičně na našich
koncertech potkáte s novými studenty Orchestrální akademie.
Vážení posluchači, věřím, že si z naší bohaté nadílky vyberete svoji hudební porci a PKF pro vás
bude stále tím „vaším“ orchestrem.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear visitors to our concerts,
Another year has flown by and once again I have the pleasant opportunity to address you through
our brochure, which provides information about our concerts scheduled for the 2012–2013 season.
A mere cursory glance at next season’s programme will reveal several substantial changes.
One of the major novelties is the fact that we have extended the number of concerts within our
subscription series from eight to ten. This is a really significant step for the Prague Philharmonia,
since as a result we have succeeded in enlarging our artistic portfolio at the Rudolfinum, which
in turn has allowed us to offer you a higher number of concerts, widen our dramaturgy and increase
the frequency of guest performances by distinguished Czech and foreign artists.
And I am delighted that we have also been able to prepare other pleasant surprises for you. Within
the contemporary music cycle, we have invited to co-operate with us in the forthcoming season
Petr Kofroň, who has assumed the artistic auspices over the entire The Beauty of Today series.
Your experiences from these performances will undoubtedly be enhanced by the new alternative
venue, teatro NoD at the Roxy club, where the concerts will take place.
The popular concerts for children cycle will continue at the Rudolfinum with new content. Changes
are in store too for the family-oriented chamber cycle, with the Prague Philharmonia members
playing interpretational hosts, which will be held in the charismatic milieu of the Czech museum
of Music. Some of you will certainly be pleased by the continuation of another of our music projects
for children, the Notička club, and you will also traditionally encounter new students
of the Orchestral Academy at our concerts.
Dear audience, I firmly believe that our variegated musical menu has whetted your appetite and that
you will choose appropriately, and also that the Prague Philharmonia will remain “your” orchestra.
