The Beckhoff I/O systems <strong>for</strong>m the central component <strong>for</strong> the connection of<br />
the entire sensor <strong>and</strong> actuator systems. The IP 20 terminals cover more than<br />
400 signal types <strong>for</strong> interfacing of st<strong>and</strong>ard automation <strong>and</strong> measurement signals,<br />
lighting systems <strong>and</strong> actuators. Communication terminals enable integration<br />
of sub-bus systems that are relevant <strong>for</strong> stage <strong>and</strong> building services, such<br />
as DMX or DALI. DMX terminals can be used to integrate intelligent lighting<br />
systems, including moving heads, LEDs or PAR lamps. Safety functions <strong>based</strong> on<br />
SIL 3 can also be directly integrated in the Beckhoff I/O systems. With this simple-to-implement<br />
safety solution, <strong>for</strong> example, emergency stops (E-stop) or light<br />
curtains can be reliably read <strong>and</strong> actuators can be switched off via safe outputs.<br />
