Wingfield Wingfield<br />
The pedigree Aberdeen-<strong>Angus</strong> herd was founded in 1946 at Wingfi eld Farm,<br />
Eastling, Faversham Kent using UK bloodlines and now totals 40 suckler cows.<br />
Bloodlines have been introduced from the USA, Canada and NZ by the use of<br />
successive stock bulls. The herd has maintained a high health status, with<br />
regular routine tests carried out. There have been no positive tests in the last<br />
30 years for I.B.R, B.V.D, LEPTO, Johnes and TB and no vaccinations are used<br />
in the herd.<br />
One of the present stock bulls is Wingfi eld Edwin Star G290, his dam is<br />
Netherton Edwina B145 and his sire is Bert Star of Auchterforfar, who was<br />
our previous stock bull who has bred so well for us and whose son was<br />
senior champion at Perth in 2004.<br />
A new addition to our stock bulls is Tonley Anelka J617, who was yearling<br />
bull Champion Black Beauty Bonanza 2010, sire Hurdcott Elixier E215.<br />
His fi rst calves look very promising.<br />

Die Zucht unserer Aberdeen-<strong>Angus</strong> Herde wurde 1946 auf der Wingfi eld<br />
Farm, Eastling, Faversham Kent aus britischen Blutlinien gegründet. Derzeit<br />
haben wir 40 Mutterkühe. Nach und nach wurden Blutlinien von Zuchtbullen<br />
aus den USA, Kanada und Neuseeland eingeführt. Die Herde zeichnet sich<br />
durch einen hohen Gesundheitsstatus aus, regelmäßig durchgeführte<br />
Routinetests belegen dies. In den letzten 30 Jahren gab es keine positiven<br />
Ergebnisse für IBR, BVD, LEPTO, Johnes und Tuberkulose, die Herde wird<br />
nicht geimpft.<br />
Einer der Bullen im Bestand ist Wingfi eld Edwin Star G290, seine Eltern:<br />
Mutter Netherton Edwina B145 und Vater Bert Star von Auchterforfar.<br />
Bert Star von Auchterforfar war unser Zuchtbulle. Er hat für uns sehr gut<br />
gedeckt, sein Sohn wurde 2004 in Perth Senior Champion.<br />
Ein Neuzugang bei unseren Zuchtbullen ist Tonley Anelka J617, der im Alter<br />
von einem Jahr bereits Black Beauty Bonanza Sieger 2010 war. Sein Vater<br />
ist Hurdcott Elixier E215. Seine ersten Kälber sind sehr vielversprechend.
