Engaging the Corporate Community<br />

Forty <strong>Boston</strong> business executives comprise <strong>Boys</strong> & <strong>Girls</strong><br />

<strong>Clubs</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boston</strong>’s Corporate leadership Council (ClC),<br />

which meets twice each year to discuss trends in corporate<br />

philanthropy <strong>and</strong> issues important to the city’s growth,<br />

including the critical role that investment in youth has in<br />

building a diverse workforce for the future.<br />

The ClC was initiated in the fall <strong>of</strong> 2008 <strong>and</strong> today<br />

operates under the Direction <strong>of</strong> nicholas president <strong>and</strong><br />

CEO Josh Kraft <strong>and</strong> co-chairs robert Gallery, Massachusetts<br />

president <strong>of</strong> Bank <strong>of</strong> America, <strong>and</strong> John Fish, president <strong>and</strong><br />

CEO <strong>of</strong> Suffolk Construction Company <strong>and</strong> its red & Blue<br />

Foundation.<br />

Under the guidance <strong>of</strong> the ClC, <strong>Boys</strong> & <strong>Girls</strong> <strong>Clubs</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>Boston</strong> launched a formal corporate partnership program<br />

in 2009. These custom-designed relationships seek to align<br />

the business <strong>and</strong> human resources goals <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boston</strong>’s<br />

business community with <strong>Boys</strong> & <strong>Girls</strong> <strong>Clubs</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Boston</strong>’s<br />

focus on fulfilling its mission.<br />
