Based on 2007 production worldwide, the lee County affiliate was named the 2nd largest Habitat affiliate nationwide. It’s because of the financial responsibility displayed above that Habitat for Humanity of lee County was also named one of the top ten builders in the state of Florida; Habitat for Humanity is the 14th largest builder in the country (Home Builder Magazine). Habitat for Humanity of lee County is recognized for a sixth consecutive year as being financially faithful. Charity navigator awarded the lee County affiliate with four stars out of a possible four; the top honor any organization can receive. Charity navigator is America’s largest charity evaluator and rates charities worldwide based on how efficiently the company uses donated funds. the navigator looks at accountability, transparency and quantifiable results from the charities rated. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.
