9. Transport of the scanners<br />
•.Check.that.the.<strong>de</strong>livery.contents.are.complete.<br />
and.check.for.any.signs.of.transport.damage.<br />
•.Empty.the.packing.completely.and.store.in.a.<br />
dry.place..<br />
•.Do.not.expose.the.scanner.to.heavy.vibrations.<br />
as.the.appliance.might.be.damaged.<br />
•.Only.use.the.original.packing.cases.for.shipping.<br />
10. Carrying the scanners<br />
Hold the scanner always on the rear<br />
si<strong>de</strong> of the housing (fig. 1).<br />
Never hold the scanner on the<br />
transport drum or the cylin<strong>de</strong>rs as<br />
weak parts of the scanner might get<br />
damaged. (Figs. 2 and 3)<br />
