$500,000 to Framingham
State University
Members of the Independent
Association of Framingham State Alumni
(IAFSA) received special recognition
during Commencement and Reunion
Weekend this year after agreeing to
pledge $500,000 over multiple years to
Framingham State University. The gift
underscores the spirit of collaboration
between the two groups.
“We are extremely grateful for this
generous commitment from IAFSA and
genuinely excited about this collaboration
that will advance our common goal
of supporting Framingham State’s
students and faculty,” Framingham State
President Timothy J. Flanagan says.
Already one of the University’s largest
annual contributors, IAFSA plans to use
the pledge to increase support of student
scholarships and loans.
“We see this pledge as a way to continue
IAFSA’s long tradition of service by
expanding our student scholarship and
loan assistance,” says Kelly Raymond ’07,
president of IAFSA’s executive board.
