Please note
All technical information is based on
comprehensive testing and our wealth
of practical experience. However, given
the diversity of possible applications, the
information should only be considered as a
guideline. A guarantee in an individual instance
is only possible if we are familiar with the
precise conditions for use and this has been
confirmed in a separate agreement. With
especially critical operating conditions, e.g. with
mixed products, we recommend taking advice
from our specialist engineers. In all cases, it
must be noted that the operating limits have
a mutual influence on one another and thus
not all maximum values can be assumed
simultaneously. We reserve the right to make
changes without notice.
Only the types of mechanical seals in the sizes
and the combinations of materials shown in this
brochure can be supplied within the framework
of and under the conditions applicable for
QDP:24. Please inquire regarding other
variants. The immediate delivery quantities of
seals from EagleBurgmann
You aim to keep your pumps and
facilities running problem-free as far as
possible, avoiding downtimes and costs
in the process. Yet in the event that
something does happen, you can still
find that you are missing the right spare
seal. Burgmann QDP:24 means that you
have one less worry in future…
n Reliable, on-the-dot delivery of your
seal (just-in-time)
just 24 hours of receiving your order
n No quibbles and no need to inquire
about delivery dates/times – a
promise is a promise
n Optimum adherence to deadlines
n The QDP:24 program comprises
approximately 3,200 different types
or sizes (MG1, MG12, M32, M32N,
Mechanical seals in the MG series are
amongst the most commonly used. The
bellows is not subjected to any torsional
stress, and sophisticated geometry
enables it to handle a number of tasks:
it is a seal face carrier, secondary
sealing element and drive collar.
However, the seal face is actually driven
via the “L” rings and the spring. There
are no bonded joints. Highly
recommended for applications with
media containing solids, e.g. in waste
water and sewage applications.
Mechanical seals of the H7N and M7N
series are ideal for stock rationalizations
as they are designed for universal
applications. The seal faces are loosely
inserted and can be easily exchanged,
allowing for simplified storage and easy
adaptation of the face material
combination or rapid repair.
The super-sinus spring on the M7N
provides practically even drive force
over the full range of motion tolerances.
It has no welded points, thus reducing
the risk of corrosion.
Due to their protected arrangement of
springs, mechanical seals of the HJ
series are ideal for applications
involving media containing solids or
which are highly viscous; model
applications are, for instance, in the
sugar industry, paper industry or in
waste water and sewage processing.
Robust, reliable, with no adhesion or
clogging of springs.
